ASNA DataGate® for iSeries 7.2 is compatible with DataGate Client versions 7.0, 7.1 and 7.2.

7.2 clients cannot access pre-Version 7 servers (version 5.0), even for just browsing labels. To use 7.2 clients, you must install a Version7 server, preferably a 7.2 server. In the 7.0 / 5.0 transition, only servers are backward-compatible (that is, an ADB 5.0 client can talk to a 7.x server).
Fixes in this Release
- Incorrect character translation
was occurring for AVR Classic (COM) client.
- Improved error message when
nonsense user ID given (e.g., *DOMAIN).
- SETGT was not working correctly
when a non-primary key part was set to *HIVAL.
- DBCS Graphic (Unicode) fields were
not being handled correctly.
