A Print File will initially contain one format when it is created. Field controls can be added to a format in one of two ways.
Drag and Drop.
From the toolbox, drag and drop the selected control onto the format to the
desired position. It's properties can then be set in the Properties
window.

Copy and Paste.
On the format, click on the field to be copied. Select Edit -
Copy (or Ctrl+C) from the toolbar. Click on the format you want to
copy the fields too, then select Edit - Paste (or
Ctrl+V). The field selected will appear in the left hand corner of the
format. Drag and drop this new field into the desired position. The
properties can then be set in the Properties window as shown
above.
You can also copy and paste multiple fields by performing the following:
Note When you copy and paste multiple fields, the order the fields are selected does not affect the order in which the fields are copied. In addition, vertical and horizontal spacing of the selected fields are maintained when they are copied and moved to their new position.
