PROBLEM: Receiving error 2094 - Could not open Database, "Error: ADB server license expired"

SYMPTOMS:

Windows NT, 2000, XP machine receiving error 2094 - Could not open a local Database, "Error: ADB server license expired".

CAUSE:

Here are the possible causes:

ASNA Visual RPG / Acceler8DB was not installed and registered with a logon that has administrative rights to that computer;
The System Date is not valid or correct.

RESOLUTION:

Note: Please get in touch with your Network Administrator or Microsoft if you have any further questions regarding Administrative Login permissions.

Here are the possible resolutions:

Log on to the computer as a user with administrative rights to the machine, and re-register AVR and Acceler8DB;
Correct the System Date to be valid.

PREVENTION:

When installing any version of AVR or Acceler8DB on a Windows NT, 2000, XP Professional computer, be sure to logon to the computer as a user with administrative rights to the machine, and re-register AVR and Acceler8DB, preferably as the local administrator account.
